Divorced twice previously, now happily married since 1984. Third time is a charm.
Blended three families, eight children all grown, 16 grandchildren, now 4 great-grandchildren.
Finished my bachelor degree at age 42.
Did not really have a career planned, just pursued opportunities.
Changed careers recently to training software consulting, enjoying it very much. Gives us many travel opportunities.
Moved to Salt Lake City, UT, met my current wife there. Married in 1984. Gained custody of my two youngest children from marriage #2.
We moved together to Plano, TX, then to Golden, CO, now to San Antonio, TX.
Many experiences over the years, mostly good, some bad. Learned to adapt to situations and circumstances when necessary. When to push for change when necessary.
My wife was nearly killed in an auto accident while on the way to work, Dec 2000. She survived with permanent disabilities. Her positive attitude through her recovery was and is an inspiration to many others. She met Joni Erickson Tata while at Baylor Rehab hospital in Dallas.
So many experiences, too numerous to fit here.
I have learned that a positive attitude is the most healthy, happy, contagious path to inner peace.
I have survived and succeeded, in spite of my youthful bad choices.
In Dec 2015 I earned a Master's degree in Instructional Design from Capella University. Never too late.
