I moved to Steamboat Springs in 1976 after living in the Bavarian Alps for a few months. I met and married a ski patrolman (a female ski bum's dream mate), and raised two children in the beautiful, wholesome city of Steamboat Springs. We spent much of our winters with our children participating in the Nordic Combined program with Winter Sports Club, and our summers at the rodeo grounds or in the woods with our horses. My husband works as a civil engineer, and I work at one of the local elementary schools. Life is good.
