Charlee lived two doors down from me when we were children. I spoke with her sister, Sheryl, and got an update on Charlee.

She retired from working at Lowry Air Force Base where she filed microfiche, until her job was replaced with a new digital process.

Sheryl also told me that Charlee had a brain tumor which was removed 10 years ago.

Recently, however, she was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas and liver and during a knee replacement, it had spread to her bones. She finally succumbed to this horrible disease in 2014.

She was a kind-hearted soul who lived a productive life. -Lauren
