I've been married to Daryl, my wonderful husband, for 29 years this August 1st. We have 2 fabulous children, Nicholas 30, and Rachel 25. I also have 2 beautiful grandchildren, Austin 11, Zachary 4.
We all live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. My daugher is moving to Oregon, USA, for 3 years. Her husband is attending University in Portland to become a chiropractor. She will be working as a hair dresser, as both of my kids have dual citizenship, and that way she can work in Canada and the USA.
I am an Owner/Operator hairdresser. Salon 5th Ave. I've worked with Irvine Rusk (Platform work) as well as taught hair cutting technique for Redken and Artec Colour Classes.
I co-owned an Art Gallery, Robertson, Underhill Art placement, which is now Rogue Gallery. I've had many personal art shows. I paint with acrylic mostly, but I also like mixed media. Abstract, modernism, impressionism are my preferred style.
What do we do for fun? We ride our motorcycles. I own a 650 cc Boulevard and my husband rides a 1000cc Jsxr sportbike.
When it gets cold, (and it does! -30 degrees C) we like to travel to warm places. Portugal, Spain, Mexico, Bahama's, Dominican Republic, Jamaica.
We purchased a place in Mazatlan, Mexico, sold it after 2 years and purchased a place in Palm Springs, CA where we may retire!
