I have been married to the same man since 1972 .We had 3 great children and now have 6 grandchildren. I was an E.R. nurse prior to my Master's degree . I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2000. I served in the Army reserves for 22 years, retiring in 2011.Our sons both served in the Army, the oldest was medically retired, the youngest is a LTC. I married Jim Wilson (Lakewood high graduate and Vietnam vet) in 1972. We raised 3 children (2 sons are in the Army, and a daughter who is married to a soldier). We now have 5 grandchildren and another on the way.
I have been an Army Reservist for over 20 years and am currently mobilized to Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri.

I work as a Nurse Practitioner in the ER.
I graduated from nursing school in 1987 and worked primarily and ER nurse until graduating from Regis with my Family Nurse Practitioner in 2000.
The most important thing in my life is my faith in Jesus Christ. I praise him for loving me in all the good times and the hard times; such as cancer.

In 2003, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, He gave me a scripture "Do not be afraid, I am with and I will bless you" Genesis 26:24. He continues to fulfill his promise.
Who knows. you may find me on a Homeland Security Watch list - after all I'm a Christian, in the military, pro life, I believe in the 2nd amendment (and the rest of the constitution) and am willing to sacrifice for freedom.

I guess according to some-that makes me a radical! My gandfather's ancestors were among the radicals who sailed to America on the Mayflower, sacrificing all for freedom-so I guess I'm from a long line of proud radicals!
